My truck 2014 Ram 2500 came with a 2.5inch reciever and has a 2.5inch x 2inch reducer sleeve. Will this hitch lock in place if used with the factory reducer sleeve?

The Fastway Self-Locking Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount # DTALBM6800-2S is intended for 2-inch hitch receivers but not for 2-1/2-inch types. It would not work with a hitch reducer sleeve in place because its locking pins would not be able to reach through the adapter. For your 2-1/2-inch hitch a better choice is the Fastway # DTALBM6825 which also has a 10K capacity and the same 8-inch drop and 9-inch rise.
