Recommended Trailer Wiring for 2008 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I have a 87615 Hitch Receiver on my 2008 Toyota Highlander. I currently use it for a hitch-mounted bike rack, but am considering renting a trailer to move some furniture. What wiring will I require? Thanks very much

Since you plan on doing some light duty towing, I recommend the trailer wiring harness # 118449 for your 2008 Toyota Highlander. You will also want the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag.
I have included links to the instructions for the wiring as well.
