Type of Glass and Origin for K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror Set # KS62075-76G
Question:
Good morning,The internet prices are all over for these mirrors. can you tell me if they use MUTH glass? Any idea if they come from the same manufacturer as factory mirrors? If price follows quality your mirrors should be top of the line. Thank you.

The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror Set # KS62075-76G is an imported aftermarket product but it will fit in place of the OEM mirrors on a suitable vehicle such as your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. K-Source does not make the OEM mirrors on the truck.
Muth glass, based on my research, is a type of glass jar typically used for honey and that originated from Charles Muth in Cinncinnati, Ohio. I do not know of any automotive mirror applications using Muth glass.
Please note that the vehicle has to already have the heat, electric adjust and turn signal functions in order for an aftermarket product to work. These functions cannot be added to a vehicle that does not already have them. These mirrors do use the same type of OEM connectors as a stock mirror that has these functions.
