Troubleshooting Venture Landing Gear Follower Leg that Stopped Working
Question:
the drive leg on my 2005 Colorado will not go up or down and the motor is fine it operates the right jack okay. the gear box seems fine would the gear inside the leg be stripped. the gear box says venture on it and the number looks like vmc40RB098016 the last zero could be a 9 do I have to replace the jacks

Before you replace the landing gear replacement leg you could try the follow leg repair kit, # LG-146060 to replace the bevel gears.
The next step would be then to replace the entire follower leg with part # LG-177201.
