Recommended Adapter To Plug 4-Way Harness On 2008 Toyota RAV4 To 5-Way On Jayco Pop-Up

Im mostly done installing the harness on my RAV4, but the pop top trailer has a different looking connection.

Thank you for the photo of the connector on your trailer. That really helps when we are trying to find a solution for someone.

Chances are you have a Jayco trailer, and we have an adapter, part # 30104 that allows you to use the 4-way connector you are installing on your RAV4 and just plug it into the adapter in the photo.

If that does not work, I recommend re-wiring the trailer and adding a 4-way harness on the trailer like either part # W787264 or part # W787268. You would then have a 4-way connector on the trailer, and it would plug into the new harness you are installing on your Toyota.

You would need to test the wiring on the trailer using a 12 V battery and a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. You would test each wire to find its function and make sure all of the lights are wired properly.

I have attached a helpful article that has wiring diagrams and shows how wiring would be run on a trailer. If there are other functions you need on the trailer other than brake lights, and turn signals, let me know and I can make some recommendations that will work for you.
