Replacement Trailer Spindle for L44643 Inner and Outer Bearings
Question:
I have not cut the existing spindles from my axle yet so I was wondering if you could tell by axle weight load and o.d. what size spindle I need. Axle is rated 2,000# and spindle O.D. is 1.910. Inner and outer bearings are L44643. Axle is under a factory made boat trailer and is 84 3/8inch long total length. Thanks,

A spindle that uses both inner and outer bearing L44643 makes it a BT8 spindle, # TRU94FR. Please note that welding on new spindles is a precision job and should performed by a qualified welder with experience welding on spindles.
The alternative is to replace the axle. Axles are measured from hub face to hub face and from spring seat center to spring seat center. For example, the picture I have included is for axle # T20BTR-EZ-7258.
