Would the Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier # DTA944-968-924 work with 10 ft Kayak
Question:
I have a 2012 Ram 1500 crew cab, will the Darby extend-a-truck rack work with a 10foot kayak? Is the kayak long enough to be supported securely.

That would depend on the length of your bed whether or not the kayak carrier setup part # DTA944-968-924 would work for you.
From the center of your hitch pin hole out to the upright bar of the rack measures 9-1/2 inches so you will need to consider that dimension as well.
If you have a short bed truck the # DTA944-968-924 should work well. An 8 foot bed would probably be too long.
