Yes, the Yakima SpareRide 2 Bike Carrier, item # Y02599, will work on the rear of your 2004 Honda CR-V. The SpareTime bike carrier includes two extensions they will allow you to fit a wide range of spare tire widths. It will fit a spare tire width from P195 (7.7 inches) to P318 (12.5 inches).
You may also need to use a bike adapter bar like the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar, item # Y02531, for alternative frame bicycles.
