We offer three 2-inch Class III hitches for your 2014 Subaru Forester that are viewable on the included link and the one I recommend is the Curt # C13144 because it offers the same towing capacities as the other choices but costs a little bit less. An install video and article with installation tips are included for you.
The recommended ball mount for use with your hitch is # C45030 and with it you can use hitch lock # e98880 to secure it. You'll also need a hitch ball of the size to match the coupler on your trailer, either 2-inch ball # 63845 or 2-5/16-inch ball # 63847. You will also need a wiring harness to operate the trailer's lights; you can use Curt harness # C56040.
