Question:
Hi, I have the Thule weekender but no way to clip it onto my 2012 highlander limited. The serial # is EG 223082. I do have factory cross bars. Can I use these? If not, I do have Thule cross bars but no mounting or fit kit? The ones that came with this wont fit my highlander and Im wondering if I would need to remove my factory ones before installing the Thule cross bars? Thanks!

The Thule Weekender came with mounting hardware that fit the traditional Thule square crossbars and elliptical crossbars, so it should fit the factory crossbars of your 2012 Toyota Highlander. The easiest way to determine if it will fit is to take the mounting hardware off of the box and try to assemble it around your factory bars.
If the hardware will not fit your factory bars, then you will want to use the Thule SquareBar crossbars part # TH712100. If you have the Thule square crossbars, then you can use the Evo Raised Rail Foot Pack, # TH710401. You do not have to remove the factory crossbars to use the Thule crossbars. The feet will wrap around the side rails on the roof, so just make sure the crossbars are not in the same place as the factory bars.
