Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for a 2004 Toyota Tacoma

I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma standard cab pickup. What roof carrier system would you recommend for an Old Towne Vapor 10 kayak?

For your 2004 Toyota Tacoma, I recommend the Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier w/ Hitch Mounted Load Extender and Single-Bar Roof Rack # DTA944-968-924. This system allows you to use a trailer hitch receiver and adds a roof crossbar to support the front of the kayak while also supporting the rear. I've attached a video to assist.
This is the most cost efficient and wise way to transport a kayak on your vehicle. If you don't have a trailer hitch, then I recommend the Curt # 13013. This combination even if you need to add the hitch receiver will be more budget friendly and will give you the best method of carrying a kayak on your Tacoma.
