Will BedRug Cargo Mat # VTRG96X for the 2006 Chevrolet Express Van Allow Re-Installation of Seats
Question:
I have a 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 van and I have carpet in the now with three rows of seats and I want to take the carpet out and replace it with rubber cargo mat. Can I use the rubber cargo mat to replace the carpet? Will the rubber cargo mat go all the way to the front of the front driver seat? Can I remove the seats and cut holes into the rubber mat to put the seats back in?

We offer custom thermoplastic floor mats for both the standard wheelbase and extended wheelbase versions of the 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 van. Part # VTRG96 fits the standard version and part # VTRG96X fits the extended version.
Both of these products are intended for vans that have the Wall System on its side walls. If instead your van has bare walls with exposed ribs, the mats only extend to the ribs and so there will be a small gap along the side walls between those ribs.
These mats are both 1/2-inch thick and extend from behind the two front seats to under the cargo door's plastic shroud. They do not reach all the way to the front of the driver's and passenger's seats.
My contact at Bedrug confirmed the mats can be trimmed to allow re-installation of your seats and Bedrug will still honor the limited lifetime warranty on this USA-made item even after you trim it.
