Where does the RoadMaster Stop Light Switch Kit, # RM-751442, Receive Power to Operate

Question:

Your vehicle specific information recommends this part for application to a 2010 GMC Canyon, for the purpose of providing power to the also recommended RM-751442 stop light switch, sending a 12V signal to the towing vehicle as an indication that remote brakes are applied. The 9332 provides a 12V female socket. Shouldnt it provide a 12V male plug to be plugged in to towed vehicle 12V electrical outlet?

The 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps, # RM-9332, is used to power Roadmaster Braking System # RM-9400. The male plug on these systems plugs into the RM-9332 to power the brake systems.

The RoadMaster Stop Light Switch Kit, # RM-751442, receives the power it requires from the towed vehicle battery or via the towed vehicle fuse box.
