Question:
I have a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector that I installed on my SUV. If I plug a 4 wire LED tester in to the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector all the lights light up even when the SUV is off. does that mean my harness has gone bad?

Yes, having all the pins of a trailer wiring harness having voltage when a vehicle is off would indicate that the box of the harness has shorted out and needs to be replaced.
We don't have the best luck with the Curt harnesses so I would recommend the Tow Ready harness part # 118571 as a replacement and then to go over your trailer's wiring looking for any shorts and fix as necessary.
