Can Heavy Duty Trailer Ramp Springs be Used on a Bobcat Trailer
Question:
Will it work on a bobcat trailer with 2 separate ramps if I buy 2

Expert Reply:
The ramp spring # RS16933LH does fit heavy equipment trailers that have a 1-1/2 inch diameter shaft (or hinge pin where the ramps pivot). It is a weld on application so I am sure that if your trailer has the proper diameter shaft then you can use these springs.
There is a left spring, # RS16933LH, and a right spring, # RS16933RH, and you would not want to mix them up because they would not mount properly to be able to function as they should.
These springs are rated for 2,000 foot pounds of torque so on smaller ramps using 2 of them would be overkill. On a bobcat trailer with the smaller ramps you would need to use 1 for each ramp.
