Camper Tie Downs for a 2002 Ford F-250 and Arctic Fox Camper
Question:
Will the HSAB work on the 2002 Ford F250 with factory plastics on bed rails? Loading up a Arctic Fox camper and need to haul it to a dealership 250 miles away for trade in.

The Brophy tie downs # HSAB should only be mounted to make contact with the metal of the bed so I would not recommend them for your 2002 Ford F-250 unless you can remove those caps. Since you are trading in the camper for perhaps another camper the best solution is to use custom fit frame mounted camper tie downs.
There are a few options depending on how your truck is configured. I have linked the main page for your truck. For example if you have an 8 foot bed without any board or step under the truck bed you can use front tie downs # TLF2011. For a short bed you would use # TLF2007.
For an 8 foot bed that does have boards or steps under the bed the front would be # TLF4006 and for a short use # TLF4007.
For the rear tie downs if the truck has an 8 or 6-3/4 foot bed and factory trailer hitch use # TLF3001. If it has an aftermarket hitch not made by TorkLift use # TLR3500. If it has a TorkLift SuperHitch use # TLR3503. And if it has a Torklift SuperHitch Magnum hitch use # TLR3504.
