2016 Toyota Tacoma Suspension Enhancement Recommendation
Question:
Thanks ahead of time. Ill be taking delivery on a 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road Access cab 4x4 at the end of the year, saying goodbye to my trusted 02. I have a Chalet Arrowhead popup trailer which I tow tongue wt usually about 250+/-.. And dont forget the gear in the back of the truck, the canopy on the truck, etc.... I installed Firestone airbags on the 02 to level the ride, and was VERY PLEASED. Now I see these Sumosprings..... Thinking about them for the 16. NO MAINTENANCE, and looks like installation is a snap IF Im seeing the right application.!! So, the obvious question With the part #SSR-610-40 IN FACT go on the 16 Tacoma? And what about effecting the vehicles warranty?

Expert Reply:
The SumoSpring part # SSR-610-40 that you referenced have been confirmed as a fit for your 2016 Toyota Tacoma so I would recommend them for you. These are nice because unlike air springs they do not require you to maintain air pressure in the bags at all.
These would not affect the warranty of your truck either.
When you install an aftermarket part on your vehicle you are protected by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. This act states, in part, that unless the installation and the part caused a problem then the warranty cannot be voided.
