The Curt Trailer Hitch, # 11493, will only fit the 2006 Nissan Coupe. I called the supplier (Curt) and they said it will not fit the convertible.

The hitch attaches to the vehicles aluminum bumper beam and the convertible is not designed to handle any extra load put on the bumper beam.

The hitch comes with a ball mount and pin and clip. You will need a hitch ball, and that size will depend on what size coupler is on the trailer. If the coupler is 1-7/8 inches, you will need the Curt 1-7/8 inch Hitch Ball, # A-80. If it is 2 inches you will need the Curt 2 inch Hitch Ball, # A-82.
