With a 2 inch hitch receiver, this trailer hitch will accept a wide variety of hitch accessories and ball mounts. This trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation that requires not welding or drilling. You will want to check your owner's manual for the towing capacity of your CR-V. Based on my research, the 2007 CR-V has a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The trailer wiring harness I recommend for your CR-V is the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118427. This harness will plug into your vehicle's factory wiring behind the rear cargo panel on the driver's side. This wiring harness will provide you with a 4-way flat trailer connector for you.
