Install Video to Use for Installation of Brake Controller in a 2000 Ford E-250

Question:

Hi, I just had my first look at my previously owned cargo trailers brakes. The brake shoes look quite thin compared to the old car brake shoes I have installed. From the photos on your web site the new shoes also look thin. Is that an accurate perception? They are on Dexter 5200 lb axles, 12X2. Thanks. Also, I just ordered a P3 controller and new breakaway kit for my 2000 E250 without a tow package and I dont see an installation video for the controller on your web site. Is there another model year that would use the same procedure? Thanks,

The pads on trailer brake assemblies like the part # 23-459 that you most likely have on your trailer are pretty thin when compared to the pads that were on older cars.

I attached an install video that shows the P3 # 90195 being installed in a similar 2004 Ford Van as yours for you to check out. The procedure will be very similar and will use the part # ETBC7.
