Locating the Brake Switch Wire to Install a Brake Controller in a 1993 Chevy Pickup Truck
Question:
What color wire do I need to tie into at my brake pedal with my red wire from the brake controller? I know it is the wire that has power only when the brake pedal is pressed I was just hoping to know which color was on a 1993 Chevy 2500 4 x4

On your 1993 Chevy truck the yellow brake switch wire is likely the one you will need. You can verify with a circuit tester such as # PTW2993. I have also linked a video that will help. Fast forward to about the 5 minute and 50 second mark.
