Where to Start When Adding Electric Brakes to a Boat Trailer
Question:
Currently my boat trailer does not have trailer brakes. Can I install electric drum brakes on the trailer? It has 13inch wheels.

Yes, you can install electric drum brakes on a trailer that does not currently have any. It's a pretty straightforward process but it starts with knowing what hub drum would replace the idler hub you have on your trailer and then building from there as that is the first piece of the puzzle.
