Can Trailer Tongue Weight Scale Determine Tongue Weight of Trailer with Weight Distribution
Question:
With a Hensley installed, you cant use the coupler to get the weight with this scale. Any recommendations? Is #5780 steady enough to lower the stinger hitch bar or the Hensley assembly itself onto the scale or do you have another suggestion?

The Hensley you referenced is a weight distribution system. You can still determine tongue weight on a trailer with a weight distribution system, but if you are trying to determine what the effective tongue weight difference would be on a trailer with a WD system installed there's no great way to do that. Some will take their vehicle and trailer to a scale and have just the rear axle of the vehicle put up on it and then will install the spring bars of the WD system to see the difference.
What you could do is use the foot plate of the jack on your trailer to put the weight of the trailer onto the # e99044 to determine what the raw tongue weight would be.
