Will EHB Adapter Need to be Removed to Use Titan BrakeRite with Aftermarket Brake Controller

Have a Load Rite trailer with E/H disc on 3 axles and a Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes. Originally had a 2013 GMC Denail 2500 HD with factory trailering gear incl brake controller. Needed a Titan BrakeRite EHB Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controllers for the system to work on the Denali. I now have a 2002 Chev Silverado 1500 which needs a brake controller to tow this trailer empty. Want to buy a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional for the Silverado. QUESTION: will this work with the Titan setup above or would I need to remove the BrakeRite EHB Adaptor from the system? Thanks for your help.

I spoke with my contact at Titan about using the BrakeRite with the EHB Adapter # DX35FR installed while towing with your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 using a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195.

My contact confirmed that you will not need to uninstall the EHB Adapter to use the BrakeRite EHB Actuator # T4813102 with the P3.

The EHB Adapter will not interfere with the use of any other brake controllers. The BrakeRite will get the braking signal from the Prodigy P3, and the EHB Adapter will not interfere with the signal.

Leaving the EHB Adapter installed also allows you the freedom to possibly tow the trailer with an integrated controller again in the future.
