Can Swagman Bike Frame Adapter 64005 be Used on a Trunk Mounted Bike Rack

Hi, Is this adapter only for hitch racks or can it be used for trunk racks as well? Ford Escape SE 2015 user. Regards,

You can definitely use the Swagman Frame Adapter part # 64005 with a hanging style trunk mounted bike rack. It would install and work the same as if you were using it on a hitch bike rack.
