Question:
Which would be a better in controlling road shock and chucking? Reese Goose Box or Flex Air! Would air bags on a truck help with up and down movement. Thanks

The Reese Goose Box and a Flex Air pin box serve 2 different functions. So if you have a 5th wheel trailer that you want to tow with a gooseneck trailer hitch you would use a Goose Box (more on that later). If you have a 5th wheel trailer hitch then you would use the Flex Air. Both are cushioned and have shocks so I would not give the advantage to either one.
If your truck has a gooseneck hitch and you need to tow a 5th wheel trailer the Reese Goose Box is the best option. But they only fit in place of certain factory pin boxes.

Goose Box # RP94716-61301 fits Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes
Goose Box # RP94716 fits Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD pin boxes and Fabex PB-600 series pin boxes
If you are towing a 5th wheel trailer with a 5th wheel hitch then the Flex Air pin boxes also only fit in place of certain factory pin boxes. To determine what will fit I would need the manufacturer and model of the pin box (not the trailer). This information should be on a sticker or plate on the pin box itself.
