I just bought a new 2016 Silverado 3500 drw diesel. I noticed that there is four threaded holes on each side of the frame above the rear wheels. Do you know what these holes are for? Is there a certain hitch that uses these holes? Thank you!

Some of the holes that you referenced on the side of the truck frame are used for the install of a custom fit set of fifth wheel trailer rails. None of the threaded holes would be used though.
The part # C16411-204 is a rail kit that will fit your truck that does use some of those holes.
