Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Jeep Compass

We have numerous trunk mount bike racks that are listed as a fit for your 2014 Jeep Compass. I have included a link to them for you.

If you are looking for the best then I recommend the Thule OutWay # TH45JV for 2 bikes or # TH56BV for 3 bikes.

I have an older version of this rack and it is by far the easiest trunk mount rack I have ever used. What makes it so easy are the 2 rubber coated straps it uses to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 straps like other carriers.

This carrier also comes with locks to lock both the carrier and the bikes to deter bike theft. Also, the arms can move independently in and out, up and down to fit a wide variety of bikes. I have included a link to a video review of this OutWay line for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
