Availability of Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch that Will Fit OEM Rail Kit of New Ram Truck
Question:
I am looking at getting at New dodge. It has the 5th wheel prep package. I Have an 18 k Reese elite and wondering if there is an adaptor plate that is available for me to still use this hitch.

The only option you will have will be to replace your current Reese Elite hitch with the Reese OEM Ram hitch part # RP30918 which was designed to fit the rail kit you will have in the bed of your new Ram truck.
There isn't an adapter to go from Reese Elite hitches to Ram OEM rail kits.
For a 7-way to install in the bed of your truck to make connecting your trailer lights easier you would want the part # 41157. Most 7-ways will be at the rear of the truck near the bumper which doesn't work will with fifth wheel hitches.
