Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2016 Toyota Prius v For Installing Swagman Titan S63400
Question:
I have a 2016 Prius V that comes with a rear spoiler. I am using a Swagman Titan 2 Bike Hitch Rack - s63400. Will this stabilizer strap work well with the Prius V, or will the spoiler get in the way? I would love to hear from anyone who has used this strap with a similar arrangement or any expert who knows the answer. Thanks so much!

The ideal solution for your 2016 Toyota Prius v would be to install a trailer hitch that does not require the stabilizer strap part # 18050 that you referenced. Since only the Curt hitches require this the Draw Tite hitch part # 24847 would be the one to use.
If instead you have the Curt hitch part # C11276 installed you will have to use the stabilizer strap part # 18050 with your Swagman Titan # S63400 otherwise you would void the warranty of the hitch. On a vehicle like yours it can be difficult finding a good spot for the strap. But you could also run it to the bottom of the hatch as that would still provide support but not but strain on the spoiler.
