B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch Compatibility with Sidewinder/Revolution on 2015 Ram w/ Tow Prep Pkg
Question:
hi.. i have a 2016 rockwood 5th wheel that came with a reese revolution pin box. can i use a bandw companion rvk3600 with this ? somewhere i read that this combination was not ok. i have a 2015 ram 2500 with the factory puck system.

There is some truth in what you've read, but it depends on which Companion setup you read about. The only B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch that can be used with the Reese Revolution/Sidewinder is the # BWRVK3600 that fits into the 4 recessed pucks in the truck bed provided by the factory installed tow/prep package.
The Companion model that mounts using a single connection point provided by the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch CANNOT be used with a Revolution/Sidewinder because the amount of torque applied could cause that single attachment point to fail-that's the distinction.
