Trailer Hitch, Ball Mount, Hitch Ball, and Trailer Wiring for a 2009 Chevy Uplander
Question:
why do the hitchs for the 2009 chevy uplander say for Canadian market vehicles?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Curt and she stated that, technically, Chevy stopped making an Uplander for the US market in 2008 so there is no 2009 model. They did continue to make them for the Canadian market which is why the Tech Tip states the hitch is for that market.
However, she stated that as long as your 2009 Uplander has the 121 inch wheelbase, the Curt Hitch, # 13336 will fit. If yours does not have a 121 inch wheelbase, or you are not certain, she stated you could use Curt Hitch # 13344.
I have included a link to the installation details for both of these hitches and some installation videos on similar vehicles below.
If you plan on doing some towing, the recommended ball mount for either hitch is # 2753. You can use hitch ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or 63847 (2-5/16 inch diameter). You would also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118396. I have included a link to the installation details and an installation video below.
