1996 Carri Lite Landing Gear Replacement Availability

Question:

Need to replace landing gear legs on a 1996 Carri-Lite 633RKS. I have the Vehicle ID# if you need it. Took the gears out on the left leg and they were damaged. Could you send price for left leg and also a price to replace both legs whole assembly please. I have heard great things about etrailers tech help on the FaceBook RV 5th Wheel page. Thanks in adavance,

In order to pick out a direct replacement for the landing gear on your 1996 Carri-Lite 633RKS we would need to know the distance between the mounting brackets. Otherwise you could just have the brackets removed from your trailer by a qualified welder and then install the brackets that come with the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162. Either way this landing gear set would work well for you, you just might have to have the brackets of your trailer removed and then install the brackets of the # BD500162.

The jacks would be the correct replacement for Lippert, Venture, and Atwood landing gear, as well as those from a few other manufacturers. The sure way to tell is that if the distance between the mounting brackets (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket as shown in the diagram) is 17-1/2 inches. If this is the case, the landing gear should fit just fine.

If your frame clamps are instead 20-1/4 inches the Ultra Fab part # UF17-943010 would be a direct replacement. The picture I attached shows the dimensions needed for the Ultra Fab. If the dimension in red is 17-1/2 instead then the Bulldog or the Lippert # LG-1 would fit.
