Towing places an extra heat burden on both your engine and transmission. Adding a supplementary cooler (or coolers) can take some of this extra stress off the tow vehicle and give you fewer worries as you tow, especially when you're in mountainous areas where there are long slow climbs without a lot of air flow to cool things down.
For an oil cooler that will reduce your engine's operating temperature no matter what your actual driving speed is, I suggest a powered cooler that will cool your oil all the time, even when you're stopped or slowly climbing a long hill.
Derale offers their Hyper-Cool remote cooler kit # D15660 that can be mounted anywhere you have enough space. It includes the cooler, hose, fittings, etc. This is the most efficient class of cooler available.
If you want to also add a transmission cooler (a very good idea) I suggest the Derale # D13504 Class IV cooler and the matching adapter fitting # D13035.
