Would the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount # WS8-25 Drag Ground on a 2015 Ford F-350

I am looking at purchasing the Weigh Safe 2-1/2inch hitch 8inch ball mount, WS8-25. I want to make sure the length will not bottom out during normal use. I believe it will be fine, but would like to hear your thoughts. I am afraid the 6inch version will not be enough for a couple of the trailers I pull. I have a 2015 F-350 crew-cab dually. The height from the ground to the top inside of the receiver is 19.5. The height of the WS8-25 is 11inch from the top inside of the receive to the bottom of the mount. That would leave 8-1/2inch to the ground, which seems reasonably safe. Also, do you know or have you heard how well the Weigh Safe ball mount will hold up in salty winter conditions? I am assuming there is no protectant or clear coat over the mount. Thanks you for your expert opinion!

For most situation 8-1/2 inches of ground clearance would be adequate. But if you do found yourself in a tight situation you would have to either remove the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount # WS8-25 or find a creative way to approach the change in elevation without dragging the ball mount.

The ball mount is made of aluminum which does not corrode and the balls of it are made of stainless steel which is about as corrosion resistant as you can get.

I attached a review video for you to check out as well.
