Question:
I have a roadmaster sterling tow bar that has a 6 pin round plug. The tow vehicle we have has a round 4 pin. Do you have an adapter to make the 6 pin round plug to a 4 pin round plug? The plug on the jeep is a roadmaster set up from our original set up which was the Falcon 2 all terrain

I have a solution for you, but we do not have a pre-wired adapter to allow you to connect the 6-pin round plug from the tow bar to a 4-pin round plug on your Jeep.
One solution is to replace the 4-pin round connector on your jeep with a 6-pin round socket, # RM-910030-7. The Sterling Tow Bar # RM-576 includes a 6-pin round socket that will work well to replace the 4-pin round socket on your Jeep. You can remove the wires from the 4-pin connector, taking the connector apart with a small set screw on top, and connect the wires by function to the proper locations on the 6-pin socket. I have attached a photo showing the locations of the functions for the 6-pin socket for you.
The other option is to replace the 6-pin connector on the wiring extension with a 4-pin round connector, # RM-910030-2. You can unscrew the 6-pin connector to gain access to the wires. You will want to match the functions of the new 4-pin connector with the locations of the functions on your vehicle's 4-pin round socket. You will need a buddy in the vehicle to activate the connector's functions and a circuit tester, # PTW2993, to test the wires.
