my 2009 silverado has a 51/2 bed with a tool box. How can I make the 50-2030-c fit or do they make them to fit with a tool box on the bed.

If your toolbox is covering up the front stake pocket hole on the bed rails of your 2009 Chevy Silverado with a 5-1/2 foot bed the part # 50-2030-C is not going to be compatible.
If the toolbox sits between the bedrails instead these would fit just fine.
