Using Adapter To Convert 7-Way Connector To 4-Way Connector
Question:
My wiring harness has separate wires for brake and the turn signals, but the standard wiring diagram has left turn/brake and right turn/brake. I will be using an adapter from 7 blade to 4 pin, so where do I connect the brake wire? 7 blade vehicle end

If you have a 7-way connector on your vehicle and want to use a 7-way to 4-way adapter, the converter is built-in on the adapter like Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter, part # PK12716.
If you are converting a 4-way on the vehicle to a 7-way for the trailer I recommend part # 30717. You will plug the adapter into the 4-way on the vehicle and then attach the remaining wires as shown in the attached photo.
