Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizers to Reduce Play of Ball Mount in Hitch Receiver

I was interested in getting a Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount w/ Built-In Scale. I watched one of your videos on it and when it was ed into the receiver on the vehicle there seemed to be a lot of slop in the fit like it the shaft on it was way too small. What is the actual size of the shaft. Hitches that I currently use have very little movement in the receiver. I was wondering if because it is aluminum they give it more space.

The Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount # WS4-2 has a standard 2-inch shank, in this case made of milled billet aluminum for strength. It is not sized differently due to its material. I went to our warehouse and measured the shank with a precision digital caliper and found it to be 1.943-inches.

If you care to add an anti-rattle mechanism to reduce any play between the shank and receiver tube, you can use # 325-GH-033 or the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061.
