Question:
I have a 2015 Subaru Forrester and it already has a 2inch hitch installed with a tongue weight of 300 lbs. I can barley install the rack because the hitch is to recessed and cannot turn the handle to tighten the rack down. I was wondering if you could recommend a solution. I would hate to get a new rack but am open to all suggestions. Thank You and appreciate your time

The only other solution, other than a different bike rack for your 2015 Subaru Forester, is to install a different trailer hitch on the vehicle since you cannot use an extension with the FullSwing bike rack.
If you installed Draw-Tite hitch # 75876 then the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole back to clear the rear of the vehicle is 5 inches on the 2015 Forester, see video link. This should leave about 4 inches of clearance between the foot of the FullSwing and the bumper.
The cost of a different hitch will be less than a different bike rack.
