The 5th wheel base rail installation kits we offer for the 2005 and 2013 Ram 2500s with 6-foot bed are different.

For the 2005 Ram 2500 with 6-foot bed the Curt base rail kit we offer is part # C16420-204. This fits trucks up to the 2012 model year.

For the 2013 Ram 2500 with 6-foot bed the Curt base rail kit that fits is part # C16430-204. An installation video is linked for you.

If you need a wiring harness for the 2013 Ram you can use part # C56000 which is a simple plug-in installation.
