Installation of trailer hitch # 75659 does require bumper fascia trimming to fit on a 2007 Honda Element SC model. The fascia hangs a little lower on the SC models so for this hitches receiver to fit trimming is required.

Another option is the Curt Class I hitch # C11699 which does not require trimming anything for installation. I have linked the instructions for this hitch for you to view.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.

Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements.
