Recommended Frame Mounted Tie-Downs for a 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Question:
The description states that these are for bumper mount, but in the picture you show them being used with frame mount on the front. Is it that they are not long enough to be used with frame mounts? If so could you make up the difference with a piece of chain? This set of 4 is half the price of the frame mounts.

You are correct, the # TLS9020 are specifically designed for bed-mounted or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs. I spoke to my installer about this and he informed me that this particular customer had half of the HappiJac's system and half frame mounted so there had to be some modifications made. Since your truck doesn't have the front anchor plates and rear button and clip of the HappiJac's system you will want to use traditional length fast guns. It's not recommended to use chain link to extend the unit more than a couple of links, like shown in the installation images for this particular setup.
For the most economical set of 4 system, I recommend purchasing two sets of the # TLS9526 which will be less expensive than the sets of 4 and be compatible with your frame mounted tie-downs.
I have linked the recommended tie-downs to this page for your convenience.
