What are Sidewinder Wear Plates Made of and How Long Do they Last

Hello i was wondering what the sidewinder wear plates are made of? How long do the last?

I spoke with my contact at Reese who said that the wear plate on Sidewinders is made of a hard plastic/resin material but could not provide the formula for it to me. It is a harder, denser material than lube plates but similar.
The plates last a long time and it is unlikely that you will need to replace it. But if you should need to replace it we have # 113983 which is the lower wear disc for Sidewinders with a 4 bolt cap. the top one is # 200959.
