I just received my brophy scissor stairs. I want to know if anyone has devised a security device for the stairs. They are easy on and off and I would like to secure them to the truck. Ours will be attached to the open tailgate. Thanks.

There isn't a lock system specifically designed for locking scissor steps like part # AS24, but depending on the setup of your truck you could use a cable lock like the part # e98891 to route through frame of the steps and then through a safety chain loop on the truck's trailer hitch for example.
