Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2007 Wild Travel Trailer with 4 inch Welded Rear Bumper

Question:

I have a 2007 wild Travel Trailer, like most it has a 4 box bumper on the rear, unlike most its a little stiffer but not what I feel comfortable towing with. I like this setup better than having something custom made but my question become about the attachment point. I have an I beam on the frame that end a full 6inch shorter than the rear of the RV, to this 4x2 tubing was welded and then the 4inch box tube welded to that. Even if I could attached to the ibeam, which I cant because of the jacks and everything else it would put the receiver well under the RV, So now I am pretty much stuck attaching to the 4x2 tubing, my concern is will this support the receiver?

I can't recommend you use the bumper brace tubing for attachment of the Curt Hitch part # 13703 that you referenced but I do have a hitch solution that I can provide.

Since you have a 4 inch continuously welded rear bumper the best solution for installing a trailer hitch is going to be the Curt part # E-100 instead.
