I recommend the Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier # TH911XT. This rack is confirmed to fit your 2012 Toyota Prius and is the same rack you were interested in, but can carry three bikes. The rack has 6 attachment straps which securely mount the bike rack to your Toyota Prius. The Passage can carry 105 lbs. for three bikes.
If you are carrying any women's children's or alternative framed bikes without the top horizontal cross tube, you may want to consider a bike adapter bar similar to # TH982XT to make loading bikes easier.
