Erickson Aluminum Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07705 does allow for easy removal of the two crossbars from the upright posts. The bars are held in place by hand knobs that you can see in the linked video at the 2:50 minute mark. The rack also includes adjustable load stops.

To slide the load stops of the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack #EM07705 past the uprights of the rack you'll need to unbolt the bar from the uprights so that they could slide past. See attached picture.
