Trailer Hitch Adapter To Use With 1-1/4 Inch Receiver On 2011 Honda Accord
Question:
I would like to purchase a two inch receiver for my 2011 sedan Honda Accord. I know the spec. call for 1.25 hitch however all my accessories bike racks. luggage racks have a two inch receiver from my truck that I no longer have. I am told I am purchase a two inch receiver for my Accord from various dealers. Can you help me with this purchase?

Only Class l trailer hitches are available for your Accord.
We do have an adapter that will convert your 1-1/4 inch receiver to a 2-inch receiver. It is part # HTAD. Using this adapter will decrease the capacity of your hitch by 50 percent. This includes the tongue weight capacity when carrying bike racks and cargo carriers. So if your trailer hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 200-lbs with the # HTAD installed it will be reduced to 100-lbs.
