The key you need for your Sears X Cargo carrier is Replacement Key # THKEYN2854. This key is made a bit longer than the originals. If the key does not work the first time you use it, I recommend inserting the key and giving the end of the key a whack with a mallet so it seats fully in the lock.

You will only have to do this the first time you use the key if it gets stuck. The key will operate correctly from there on out.
